Default pushrod size question... for tr230/236/112...

ok i have a stock bottom stock heads ls1 with a
thunder racing 230 236 112 cam
with 7.4 pushrods and dual springs

heads never been removed from engine

other mods include fast 90/90 setup


now for some reason there is a loud noise on the intake ....like a lifter noise or some hollow air sound ...anyone help?

With stock heads and 7.4 PR's you should be ok on lifter preload...
You say the sound is coming from the intake? Not from one side of the engine or the other?

it sounds kinda like a suction pulsating noise and a tick tick noise

I'd pull the valve covers and double check that all the rockers are tight. You can also try to push on the push rods and see if one feels different than the others. It's a long shot, but you may be able to tell if a lifter is bad that way.
