One question anybody know what year and motor the 862 castings came from?

Yeah, those heads should help you raise your CR a few notches.

Yeah they're milled .007 and with a little luck I can run a .040" or .043" gasket.

Here's some more info:
So far everything looks great. The heads are 62cc 862 castings loaded with PRC dual golds and Manley Pro flow valves (2.02"/1.575)
They've been custom ported and the chambers have been massaged.
The cam is a Futral F14 232*/234* with .600" lift
I'll be measuring the PtoV and seeing if I can run .040" or .043" head gaskets otherwise I have a set of OEM .054" gaskets. SCR will be over 11:1 and DCR ~8.5 Quench comes out to .033" to .047" depending on which head gasket I can use. Long tube headers and ORPs are ready to go on with the heads.
Also have Don Goetz SFCs, Torque Arm, STB, and tunnel brace. Predator programmer and a cabinet full of stuff like gaskets, 160* stat, SLP header install kit etc.
