[SIZE=1][SIZE=5]do you have to pull the motor on a 99 camaro I have a 99 z camaro and I the engine is in the car apart I took the heads off so I could put new ones on and I wanna change the cam and put a new timing chain on and oil pump but I can't get to the pickup tube bolt. SO I wanted to know what I had to do to get to it!!!!!!!!!!!!1[/SIZE][/SIZE]

First off your letters are way to BIG. Second you need to drop the pan to access that bolt.

Well, then yes. You do have to pull the engine out if you want to change the oil pump bolt, especially if your car is a 99. Class is in session chump.

loosen all the oil pan bolts and it will drop enough to do this. Put some rags in the front of the pan so when you drop the bolt 18 times you wont lose it. There...done
