Default is there any way to prelube a brand new engine before starting?

Im about to put on the oil pump and was wondering if there is a way to prelube the engine before finishing assembly and cranking it up. I already know to fill the oil filter, but wondering if theres a way to send pressurized oil into this thing before cranking it over.
TIA
chris

I always pull the injector fuses under the hood and crank the motor over. Ive done this with and without the spark plugs in. Its easier to spin with them out.On mine it built pressure on the gauge as well.

However, with most engines you can spin the oil pump without spinning the crank. Even without the plugs, you are still spinning the cam and rockers under load from from the valve springs, and all the crank and rod journals and wrist pins with no lubrication for several seconds...maybe 10-30 sec. On an SBC or SBF you can replace the distributor with a shaft to prime. With a dry sump you can spin the pump with a drill or impact wrench (I use an air rachet.

Is there a way to do it to an LS1?

You could rig a pressure tank with oil and a charge of compressed air. Run the oil into a feed galley and slowly roatte the engine over by hand.

I've heard that the spinning the motor over by the starter with no injector fuses and the plugs out works ok.

I spun mine over with plugs in and fuses out, worked fine.

Ditto

I just squirt oil onto/into all the pushrods/lifters/rockers, pull the fuses and crank the motor over for about 5 seconds or so.

On a ls1 there's no way to spin the oil pump since its mounted on the crank snout. You can either use a pump system like shown above or do what most of us do and pull some fuses and crank it over. If you lube everything before you put it together you shouldnt have any dry start issues. As long as your oil pump/O-ring is good, you should be good as well.
