I currently have a 218/224 .527/.534 114.
Passing the smog test is MANDATORY.
From what I've read a 224/224 .550/.550 114 is about as big as I can go & still pass emissions.
So....would I really see a big jump in HP by upgradeing...or would time/money be spent better in other places? ...if I did upgrade..how much HP/TQ would I get?
TIA

No track time yet...just Dyno.
Prior to my Head install I was putting down 355 HP / 360 TQ ...havn't been back to dyno since head upgrade yet...haven't upgraded intake yet either.

You really need get an LS6 or better intake on and get it tuned for the intake/heads. Then see where you are. LS1 intake will kill you on the top end....trust me. You could gain something with a cam swap, question is how much. May be worth it to you, may not be.
I have to ask...do you still have the stock MAF? How is that SLP unit working for you?

yeah, I wouldn't recommend that upgrade unless you are doing the work yourself.... it'd be no big deal.... just #400 for the cam and misc. grap you'd need.... but i'd spend the #300 or so on a used ls6 intake manifold + new coolant pipes... Also I know a ton of states just changed so that now they do emissions testing via just checking yoru OBD2 port... so check and see that.

SLP MAF is good AFTER I removed the resistor, loaded the 85mm Z06 MAF tables with HP Tuners and tweaked with that RAF Excel spreadsheet...Ya I do plan on upgrading to a LSX Intake, probably later this year
