I had a TSP 231/237 and liked it fairly well. I put down something like 393RWHP@something like 6400rpm. Had something like 370ftlbs of torque but forgot what at what rpm. They are not known for having a nice thick mid range. There are better cams out now,, I would look around some more.

BTW, I did those numbers through heavy 17X11s with 315s on them, a 4.10 gear and I was still on the stock LS1 intake.

One is XE-R Comp (233/239) and the other is a LUNATI grind (231/237)
Lobes on the 231 are softer.
If you guys are putting this cam on stock heads, you are overcamming.

I had the 231/237 with Stage II Heads... loved it. When I rebuilt I went with the 237/242 and loved it even more. Haven't got the tune yet on the new cam but even with the old tune it pulls better.

To maximise this size cam you'll end up having to get heads, milled and will have to flycut the pistons.
If these are in your plan then proceed.
Otherwise you'll benefit more from a smaller cam with proper valver events.
This my 2 cents from hands on experience.

a friend of mine is running this same cam in his car only on a 113 LSA with stock heads and his car moves like a raped ape. Im not saying heads would not benefit me, but i will still make awesome power with that cam

Yeah, there's definitely better cams out there. I'm going to have heads that flow 301 @ 600 and 308 @ 650, and I'm running a 224/228 cam with .640 lift on 110LSA. Basically copying Patrick G, but my setup will be very similar to his when all is said and done. He says it makes insane power everywhere. I'm waiting to pick up another shortblock tomorrow and then I gotta wait for my bearings to come in and re-assemble everything with the new cam and heads and then get it in the car *sigh*.

Keep in mind, this cam will not be close to working with stock valve springs and will not be good for stock heads with the flow at those lifts, but a bit milder would be great. Lift somewhere in the 560-580 range, 220/226 on a 112 or 110 or so I'd imagine would end up being faster on your car than the 233/239 cam.
