want to cam it....but with what? well im going forced induction in the future. most likely a single turbo. i cant afford to do it all at once so im looking to throw in a cam in my o2 z28 thatll be turbo happy and do a decent job for now na.(if possible) for the prices of getting my block worked on and forged i might as well buy a complete short block from our sponsors for a little more and have a stocker as a back up. this if for a street rod. any ideas? thanks
look into the lingenfelter cams. the gt2-3 is a good choice and is a little bit better then the zo6 cam. I would put a bigger cam in now and when you add the turbo and the rebuild then get a better cam suited for FI.

trying to base it off of just cam specs is greek to me. i might as well be tryng to read this post in brail. im trying to avoid buying a cam twice. im stock now, so any improvement that will function with a turbo is good for me. keep em coming!

If you can't pick a cam off that list, all the recommendations you'll get here will still be Greek to you.
Contact LS1 Speed (Speed inc) ... Sponsor, they are good with turbos.
BTW, do some reading in the FI section.

An LS6 cam is a great forced induction cam too, and they are pretty easy to find and you wont have to worry about replacing valve springs as often as with bigger cams.
this one will work great for a street rod project { ls6 aka factory corvette zo6 camshaft } smooth idle with good valve lift
