Default How can you tell if one of your cylinder is out?

Thinking I might have one out, but don't know what exactly to look for. Any ideas?

Rough idling, blueish smoke, fouled plug and low compression on test.

I've got white smoke, recently reduced feel in power. Feels some what sluggish. Idles fine, just a bit more quiet, but I don't feel the throttle response quite as much as before.

I do have a blown gasket, could it be leaking coolant into the cylinder causing the issues? (Refill coolant once every 2-3 weeks)
