Am in the process of chaning my LS1 block to an assembled LS6 block complete w/L7 pistons, timing set, melling oil pump. Will use existing AFR heads, Comp cam, intake, oil pan, & covers. What is the correct way to break in the new block? Is there a write up somewhere? Thanks in advance.
BTW, can't wait to do away w/the 99 LS1 PCV arrangement.

Drive it like you would after break in, don't cruise at one speed, change the revs up, rev it out some, decel off the engine, etc, etc. I dynoed my new motor at 375 miles, just change the oil before dynoing it or at 500 miles, then you're good to go lay the hammer down
