Default Help with head choice/ valve covers

Im working on getting a 98 LS1 back together that had spun a rod bearing. We out the 374 c.i. Eagle Rotating assembly in it, and it has an MTI cam, .559/.559 .221/.221 and were looking for a set of heads, but trying not to spend too much money. We had talked to Livernois about the stage 1 ls6 heads. The cars gonna be kind of a daily driven car, so nothing too too radical. Any advice on them, good or bad comments. Also Im looking for a set of center bolt valve covers for them with the coil pack mounts. Anyone got some info? Thanks

Patriots LS6 heads are a good deal, and decently done, I'd go with those.

I'd go with the Livernois or TSP LS6 heads. Cant argue with an LS6 head for less than $1000 with no core charge.

By the way...that much stroke and that small of a cam is gonna make for a lot of low end torque. You may want to look into a larger cam...that tiny 221/221 cam will peak VERY early in a 374 inch motor.
