Default Intake to support 255CC intake runner heads

I have the same problem, I have a 427 with etp 255's and all I can use is a Fast 90mm. I am hoping that ETP comes out with a intake also.

ETP put their intake development on hold so it will be a while before you see it.

It sucks that they put that on hold when eveyone is running out of intake manifold when running a decent 225cc head and bigger. Its a shame that there is not an intake available for guys running 400 + ci to use to get max potential of a motor at a reasonable price.

well, there's always the Harrop intake. Its around $3500 but the cool factor is second to none and it flows great.

If you have to go sheet metal, give these guys a call. They do some nice work.

What about that new intake that was posted up in here last week I beleive. It was polished looked like the fast but had a 96mm version. I know it prolly still wouldnt be as good, but surely it would flow alot better. I believe it was under $400 also. I know buynspeed sells them.

Justa suggestion, but why not run the ET 4" bore LS7 heads instead of the 255's?
Change to the LS7 rockers, and LS7 intake and then you will have a better top end for about the same price.
The LS7 intake is a few hundred less then the fast.

If the cam isn't pushing the valves into the realm of the valve relief, then it wouldn't matter.

That was probably the Proffesional Products intake. They appear to be a great value, but don't know of any testing that anyone on here has done.

Im doing a pretty radical carburated LS* motor (14to1,solid roller, etc, etc) The victor jr amd gmpp are to small for a 700+ HP. My head guy is taking a Ford Super Victor for a dominator carb cutting it down the middle an shifting, the #1 cyl. from pass. to driv. side and making it fit the heads. You fuel injected guys can do the same thing just have the injector bungs welded in. Many top shops can do this, Self Racing is one that comes to mind.

If you do decide to go with a fab intake, it would be worth the time to see what Hogan can do for you.
