you are going to need more than just cam and heads and bolt-ons to reach 500rwhp, but have you looked at the cam sticky?

okay well we will need more info: gas mileage matter, idle, budget, what is your long term goal, horsepower, ET, low-end torque?

i would like to keep gas mileage as close to stock as possable but if i loose some owell, idle i would like it to idle loopy as possable, as for goals it would be hp and and low end tq, as for ET i dont go to the track that often so that is not my main concern right now that is down the road issue.

well, if you want to keep the gas miilage close to stock, I would stay away from your more agressive cams, like the T-REK or ms3

lets just stay I lost a good amount of gas milage with my 228/588, city and highway were both affected.

what about budget? you will need springs and pushrods, a tune

for a loopy idle, focus on a lower lsa

i am figured that it will cost me some where around $1500 to cover the cam, springs, pushrods and tune. does that sound about right? would u think a 112 lsa would be a good choice for the loopy idle?

everybody def of streetable is different, I can stay though, I wouldn't want to go any higher with the cam I have right now and even with this one it gets annoying sometimes. You have to ask yourself if 5-10rwhp is worth the extra hassle of a bigger cam?

Well on a cold start sometimes, you have to let it sit for 30secs to a minute before you can put in reverse or it will die. That gets annoying... but once it is warmed up, you can turn it off and on with just a little surge for 3-10 secs.
I have never gotten use to this, I didn't mind when I first got the cam because I was excited about it, now after about 6 months, it is getting a little old, especially for a dd, now if it was a weekend car, I wouldn't mind.

You will loose some low end torque if you don't do heads at the same time, which I have noticed.

It is pretty damn loud, sometimes it annoys myself

Lopey idle increases with overlap, right? And more overlap is going to hurt your fuel economy. Are these true statements?

I have absoutly no problems with my cam in my car right now, jump in turn it right on and go. It all comes down to tuning. If you get a great tuner, they can make it streetable.
