Anyone bent a pushrod???
Anyone bent a pushrod??? Just wondering, because I did I am pulling the head off tomorrow. I just wondered what you may have encounter when you pulled your head off?? Piston damage???

bent some on my tuned port motor when i went to start it after my first cam install..didnt need to replace anything put the pushrods..
found that i had the timing chain gears way off when i pulled it apart to diagnose the problem..*skakes head*

Just did it the other day havent had a chance to look at the internals yet. You dont have to pull it all apart just do a leakdown test if you have the tools....If you do pull the heads off take them and get em ported while theyre off.

Did the EXACT SAME THING SUNDAY Hoping to only change pushrods. hoping tha there is nothing that is in bad shape when I look, allready done a leakdown test 0% percent. Pulled the valve cover broken valve sping that went over the top of the retainer that pinned the valve down = NO CHANCE FOR THE SECONDARY SPING TO PULL IT UP. To bad I only had 5,000 miles on my heads
