Default head swap gasket question

Going to be installing a set of .030 milled heads with an f-13 cam. Do you think .045 cometic gaskets will be ok?

Im guessing you dont have valve reliefs. Im going to say that its gonna be too tight. I wouldnt chance it. Start making preparations to notch the pistons and forget about your P to V problems.

Why don't you want to use the GM MLS gaskets?

If it were me, I'd make sure to measure the ptv clearance. I'm betting you're gonna be really close.

the guy i got it from ran stock gaskets and stock length push rods. i planned on going to a 7.35 and thought going from .056 to .045 on the gaskets would be right in line.
