You can't spend that much and get more than a nice H/C setup. You can SC for the bucks and get quite a bit more power than with a H/C, but you'll have to consider more driveline upgrades to handle the extra torque.

Don't forget about the compression change that will be necessary to run the extra boost if you so chose. I say H/C and intake and maybe a 125 shot if you were considering FI. You will be happy either way though man. Happy Modding.

Honestly you will probly get more power out of a 408 NA than you will out of the stock motor with the procharger #7 rod bolt and 500 hp are not buddys.

I'went through a similar decision process recently. While I want big power, I had to weigh that against the fact this car is my daily driver and needs to be reliable. I've been running a cam for over 2 1/2 years now with little problem, so technically the decision for me was heads v pro charger.

While a forced induction LS1 is way cool, in the end my head won out and I ordered Stage 2e heads from MTI to go along with my current mods. Ordered the heads this past Monday in fact.

What I should end up in few weeks (when I get the heads installed) is a very reliable 500 crank horsepower, mid 11 second daily driver.

Call up Hardcore tell them what you want out of your car and they will hook you up. They are a Procharger dealer, so that should make you happy.

are you an A4 or M6? I say get a nice heads/cam package, say maybe an MS3 and prc ls6 heads (should be about $2500 for everything), then headers, and a moser 12 bolt. With tune, install, and other needed mods, such as fueling, you should be around 450 rwhp, and with a stick tire and good suspension you would certainly be in the 11's, and maybe 10's if you know how to launch well. FI is always WAY more expensive than you initally think it will be.
