Default titanium retainers???

Should I go with titanium retainers with the tr 224 224 cam or are the stock retainers good enough for this application?

Do you actually notice a power difference with the titanium retainers or is it primarily to extend the safety margin against valve float?

they are all around better than stockers and lighter wieght for higher reving. I dont think you will see any power difference at all.

you dont really need them, save your money for better things or get a biggger cam if you want to make good use of the retainers

Being that the top of your spring is smaller in diameter than the bottom of your spring ("beehive design"), it makes a Ti even less important.

It would be hard to fully justify them for a 224-sized cam with stock springs.
