I'm late posting, but I figured I would post since this appears to be the official Hotcam dyno #s thread.

The dyno was generous, don't know if I'll get around to verifying them anytime soon. More importantly, track times should come in a month or so.

I had the hotcam in my car when I still had stock heads and ran 11.63 @ 115.35. I liked the hot cam. My 228 cam does not seem to have near the midrange the hot cam did. However I never could get the car to run right with the hot cam so I got rid of it.

A guy I know has a hotcam in his Z28 and it does not idle any better then my car and my car is way stronger.
Id go bigger. You can find a cam that has = driveability but produces better #'s.
