Default tick tick tick.....solved

well my car started to tick and after searching i found that this problem was common with many ls1's. so i pulled the valve covers and all appeared to be normal. i checked the torque on the rocker arms and they were all fine. i was prepared to pull the heads and remove a bad lifter but when i pulled my push rods out i found one that was bent to ****. i'll post a pic later. so anybody else with the "ls1tick.com" problem check your push rods. later, matt.

Glad to hear you got it fixed. Its pretty popular, especially after an overrev. Better the pushrod than a valve.

My thoughts exactly. I have replaced 3 banana'd pushrods after a mis-shift myself.
