Smile **F11** On a 112 VS 114

I have an A4 with a 3k stall & 3.73 gears

I finally made up mind and im going with a F11 i just cant decide if it should be on a 112 or a 114lsa

Which one makes more power?

I searched but i didnt find a thread that compared the two.

i went iwth the f10 on a 114lsa, a lil smaller than urs, im in the middle of a 6 speed swap and i dont think ill have any problems using the 114lsa, makes good good power and still has a choppy idle. 112lsa is more of a sharp power curve it will peak more quickly and abruptly where as a 114lsa will have a wider power curve and be less "peaky".. the 114lsa will make its top power at a higher rpm wheras the 112lsa will have a little lower of an rpm where it makes peak power. 112 will be choppier but the majority of people w/ a stalled auto have better driveability and enjoy the 114 better, the power curve just works better with the way the car drives. hope that helped

I was wondering the same thing. Only I have an M6. I have a 216/220 now and am getting the F11 soon. Just wondering the same thing you were.

I would do a 114 simply due to the fact that you are an automatic.

I run a 3400 2.1 TC, 228 0.588 112+1, and stock 3.23 gears with no problems.

Ive got an F11 (112+2) in my car now with a 4400 convertor and it runs pretty hard. The cam will be out next week and up for sale... PM me if you're interested...

Just orderd the 114 John from Futral said it would be the best DD if i needed it to be and the easiest to tune-Even though thats not my prob sence i know nothing about tuners

I wanted the 112 for the lope, but i really need by car to be a 100% whenever drive it, besides the wife probley wouldnt like the lope...
