Default Good Numbers?

I have stage II jantzer ported heads that came w/ the car when i bought it. I finally asked the previous owner to send me the flow chart. But don't know nothing about it. So are they good numbers so that way i can start looking for new ones.Stage II Jantzer ported heads.

The heads flow 296@.570 if I recall correctly. Also the mid lift numbers are strong,

They have REV dual springs/titanium retainers, new stock gm seals & locks. They are GM 241 casting centerbolt heads (the best ones). They were milled .035".

.100 66.6 67.5
.150 100.7 102.4
.200 137.6 139.9
.250 169.7 176.2
.300 194.5 204.0
.350 217.1 229.7
.400 231.2 251.6
.450 234.6 268.7
.500 230.2 280.4
.550 234.1 291.3

those heads look like they flow pretty good, they're not the best that i've ever seen, but unless you're ready to shell out over $2k i'd stay with what you have.

I believe your friend is right. Lookinig at the flow numbers if you have the money I would consider another set of heads and a cam that you can match to your setup. Maybe something smaller that you could add some compression to without flycutting.
