just bought 15 quarts of German Castrol 0W40.
I have alittle blue smoke on deceleration when I am going from WOT to letting the gas go. So I heard GC would help this. I havent actually put it in yet. Waiting for a day off of work. But from what I HEAR, I like it. I bought out Autozone when I found it. And I shall be going to the NEXT autozone and buying them out of it too

royal purple 10w 30 just poured it in tonight but haven driven my car yet, i also ported and polished my throttle body, and throttle blade modifications+ polish. made an under car air ram to go along with my ram air hood, cut the bottom out of my air box and changed my rear oil to royal purple also, and added purple ice to my coolant... so if i notice a performance gain it could be from any number of things... i used to run mobil 1 but i didnt like it looked like black water (very thin) cold after 3k miles rather then it should like oil. castrol (ran it in my car before, much better oil), amsoil (what i run in my dirtbike) etc much better. in performance and durability. havent established anything for the royal purple yet thought id give it a try. the fact that the oils actually purple hmm wonder where they got the name or if they added the color .. first time ive seen a colored motor oil. 2 stroke oil its expected. i also got royal purple syncromesh for my transmission but didnt feel like taking the car apart to put it in tonight, so maybe tomarow.

Just regular Castrol 10w30 in most of mine. I'm not much of a believer in certain oil brands preventing damage, I recently had a car that went 180000 miles before having problems (One piston skirt collapsed, bearings looked like brand new), it had no more than 20 oil changes the whole time.
My Turbo Mustang barely makes it to oil change intervals anyway before destroying itself, lol.

well got to test drive the car with royal purple 10w 30 today, was alot faster but ^ as posted ealier i did alot of other lil things... but i did notice my engine runs alot smoother and no more damn ticks that i saw with the "water of an oil" m1. someone posted before me that some oil starts at 0w on startup and gets to 40w after warming up ?? im just wondering where you heard that because all oils ive seen or heard of loose oil pressure with heat, proving it gets thinner, not thincker and as do all oils ive seen and all liquids that come to mind...
