best heads/cam package?

There r so many good cams around, the secret is in the heads.
AFR, TEA , trickflow would be my choice depending on how big your wallet is.

Have you read the stickies?
What criteria are you using?
Peak HP? Peak torque? Power under the curve? Do you care about the RPM range used? Does cost matter? Drivability?

THERE IS NO BEST !!!!!!!!!!
There are numberous combos that work well !!!!!!
AFR 205's 59 cc for higher compression paired with G5X3 or X4 cam with high lift to produce huge numbers on the top end. Same heads 66 cc and a supercharger with the G5X1 or X2 cam less lift and larger compression chambers for lower cylinder compression rate and higher air flow make tremendous low end torque and very good numbers up top.
Et's make a good set up as well, their 215's are really good, Throw in a Trex and build a top end motor.
I have also heard a lot of good stuff about Patriot Head/Cam pkgs. I don't have much experience with Patriot though. That's why I pushed
LG Motorsports' pkgs first. I dealt with them, and I know others who have dealt with them have gotten similar results. Good luck. Hope you pick a good combo. Why don't you start a thread with your goals and add a poll and let the members vote on the Pkgs based on your goals.

Vengeance made 521/464 with this one, I think their cam with the TFS heads are hard to beat...oh yeah, no flycutting, but may not be a bad idea.

Call or email the guys at Texas Speed and see what they have to say. That will be a good starting point. They have some setups that offer the best bang for the buck out there, like CNC'd LS6 heads with any one of a dozen cams.
