permission to go nuts?!
A ******* bug (small brown it flies) just crawld into one of the holes next the the valve springs. I was trying to be considerate and not kill the little ******, but of course it went ahead and crawld into the head before I could grab it.
Is this bad?

so dont worry about it then? the last thing I need is to have a small bug mess my engine up.

I wouldnt worry about it. The oil will cook it to a crisp and it will deteriorate into ash in the oil and wind up stuck in the filter. No big deal.

think about it...if the bug crawled into a hole next to the valvespring, then all the oil that comes off your valvetrain would also get into the cylinder.
that doesnt happen because there is no way into the cylinder except past the intake valve, past the exhaust valve, through the spark plug hole, or through the fuel injector hole.
if there is another way in on an engine that can run, please let me know.

Sounds like you might be on to something....like all the b.s. you have experianced in the last year was for a reason. I can see it now...Late night infomercials with the Tornado Guys and then Lithium's Octane Bug Booster!
Obtw, I spun #6 rod last week and as all my friends looked in disbelief at the last gasps of my motor I calmly thought deja vu and then I remebered the Infamous Lithium thread. No worries, forged bottom end on the way with, 9in ford rear, and suspension upgrades. I got into the 11's with the stock bottom end, and the 10 bolt rear lived. Anybody need a 10 bolt?

LMAO damn man, sorry to hear that.
I have already gone through most of that once, I really dont want to have to buy another motor. Especially cause of some small *** bug...

As mentioned, no way into the combustion chamber except through the intake, exhaust port or sparkplug hole. Likely the bug fell into the oil return passages. While the 230* temps will certainly cook the little bastard, it probably wont turn it to ash. The bug will however probably be disolved over time as hes whipped around by the crank in the oil pan and eventually caught in the filter. I wouldnt worry.
