Stock springs wont cut it. You could squeak by on some 918's, but if you want to play it safe go with a good dual spring.

He said it was set for 11.2:1 scr and no flycutting was required. It was a 00 TA WS6 with a M6. That's what I remember off the top of my head, it's been a few months.

Now thats just nasty, esp with a catted Ypipe. Do you know how much the heads were milled?

They will have a smaller chamber than the LS6 head which will improve compression and power. However, you could just mill your heads down to whatever size you want to, so its not really that big of a deal. Just keep an eye on your p2v clearance.

then you start running into alignment geometery if you go too far with milling them. reason why its not such a great idea to start with a 317 to raise

Honestly I have no clue how much they were milled...however much that would get you around 11.2 scr

Ill have my results up today or tomorrow. Although my cam is smaller than the torquer,it should be a somewhat close resemblance. I have full bolt ons besides an EWP and 90/90.

I used a .040 cometic on an unmilled head...this made my static compression about 11:1 and my dcr about 8.6. So It should make some good torque.

I am getting tuned at EPP on a mustang dyno. So I am not sure how good the numbers will look, but I am going to take the car to a local dyno jet to compare as well.

I talked to a guy at EPP when I dropped the car off and he said that most H/C LS1 cars only put down high 300's low 400's at best on their mustang dyno. Stock ls1's put down around 260-270.

A car that made 38x on their mustang dyno a while back made 43x to the wheels on a dyno jet across town.

Good luck getting it tuned, and let us know what power you make.
Did you order those cometic gaskets from TSP??
I had no idea that a gasket could bump your compression so much, maybe i should change my order to cometic gaskets.

That thing made some kick *** power. I called TSP earlier and changed to the Cometics .040 gaskets and im getting the heads decked. Hopefully that will boost my compression a little bit.
