Default Help with LSA decision!

I am getting a TR 224/224 and need some advice on LSA, there are no tuning shops close to me so I am going to have to get a mail order tune for now, will a LSA of 112 be okay with my daily driver with a mail order or do I need to get it on a 114??? Thanks for your advice!

Either should work. I don't have any personal experiences with mail order tunes though.

112 lsa will give you power earlier in the rpm's.

I'm not really looking at a certain sound, I would just rather have it on a 112 since the power will hit sooner in the rpm band, but since it's my everyday driver I am just a little worried about how it will drive off a mail order tune since I really dont have another choice at this time. Thanks!

I think you'll be fine w/ a 112 espicially since it's a 6 sp. car.

the sound depends on what exhaust you have. if you have an off road set up then nothing will sound stock except a stock cam. if you have cats and a muffler with a very mild cam you may be able to fool a few people that dont know what they are listening for. this coming from experiance.

Drivability will be more than fine with the 112. I have a 224/228 on a 110* LSA and even with NO TUNING the car runs well. The cold idle is a bit rough and wants to die, but once it warms up, it idles perfect. Had a basic tune done the other day so I could pass emissions before I pull my trans and I think they raised my idle to 1000RPMs or so and it idles perfect now.
