Default Double roller timing chain

What are the advantages and disadvantages of getting a double roller timing chain?

Its pretty much bullet proof but a little overkill IMO. The LS2 chain is verrrry popular. Only disadvantages of the double roller would be if you are running the older style ASP pulley and need it to be machined...or if you put those spacers on wrong which can lead to 0 oil pressure.

just put the rollmaster on my car...it fit great and is a real nice piece. So far so good, oil pump fit with no issues or modification. It may be overkill, but i'd rather be safe than sorry..especially if you have a big cam

Is the LS6 timing chain the same as the LS2?

I am in the process on getting a cam and all of the goodies to go with it. I want a cam that will make good power, but will not be a pain in the *** to drive every day. Ihave been doing some looking on teh sight, and I think I am going to go with the LS2 timing chain. Where can I find the chain?

Usually pops up in the parts for sale section, or from spdc.com(sp?) I believe

glad I did it... especially if it's overkill.
