Calling all cam gurus
I put in the MS3 and do not like it. Nothing personal. I want to put a cam in that suits the car perfectly with the dcr and all that other crap. I have stock gm gaskets, and pistons. I do not want to flycut but what is the perfect cam that I can get or have made so every number is perfect across the board. It is an 02 Ws6 with tsp prc ls6 heads with springs good for 630 lift. I want it to be able to be driven on the streets but perform pretty good at the track.

Search for patrick G's cam. It makes great power even down in the low rpm ranges and it sounds like you are unhappy with the ms3 maybe because of the lack of low end power like while normal driving. There are a lot of threads here lately abotu cams that make more low power. His cam is something like a 224/228 on a 110lsa bit over .600 lift, lsk lobes. he seems to be the cam guy around here as of recently.
To make that low end power that you want, you are going to want a cam that closes the intake valve earlier so that the DCR goes up.

I love the cam itself but I do not like the way the car performs as far as driving it around. It performs great at the track even with our old tune but the girlfriend wants to drive the car to college and with the ms3 its just not smart out here in cali. i want something more driver friendly but still performs well at the track.

Yea, sounds to me like the car needs to be tuned better. Myself, Patrick, vendors, or anyone else can reccomend camshafts, but the truth is, is that there is no "magic" cam. What good is a new cam gunna do if it drives just as bad as the one you have because of the tune? The only way to turly get a camshaft taylored for your combo is testing. I believe the cam you have now can be tuned to drive just fine, but, if you do decide to swap to a diffrent cam, you need to make sure it is properly tuned as well.

That's because automatics require good vacum and they idle lower. I don't know who is doing your tuning, but they should be able to make your car driveable. 110 and 112 LSA's start getting tricky in auto's, and this is why you would want someone who has tuned a ton of these cars. If you feel your tune is compliant, maybe you should drop down to a Torquer on a 113 or something similar. Jsut make sure it's professional tuned. It can make all the diffrence.
