Not at all. I swapped from AFR 205s to AFR small bore 225s. I lost nothing in the low and mid-range, but picked up a few ponies up high. Bottom line, the 225s are not too big for a 346.

is it really worth the upgrade in my situation? (Bo White 5.3's shaved .20 and an f13, i believe the compression is up a half point?) i just lokoed and it looks like i'd be picking up about 35/40cfm at .500 lift and 50cfm at ~.600 lift..thats with the larger bore and 72cc heads though.....i just wouldnt know how to translate those #'s to justify the uprgade yet.
