I can't count how many customers I have had that had a good, drivable, killer combinations and then killed it with a huge cam.

Congrats on the killer numbers John, I knew if anyone could do it you could.
forgot to insert the sarcasm. i have a custom grind 235/237 599/602 on my 6.0 thats far from big, but i put the track #'s down everyweekend. i know its not all about the big cam, the combo has to match.
i wouldnt trade my cam for anything right now, i dont even wanna take the stock heads off of it it runs so good.

Very impressive dyno numbers.

Can you post all your time slip info?

60ft, 330, 1/8, 1/8 MPH, 1000, 1/4, 1/4 MPH

Maybe I weigh more. I have always considered it to be accurate as I weigh at the Farmers Market.

im hoping to pull off 11.1-11.2 or a 7.1-7.2 in the 1/8 we went to the track the other night and the car went 7.36 but it woulnt shift into third it kept banging the limiter, but we got that fixed now and the tires where rubbing at the track so i have to roll the fenders this week before i go back, that will kill the mph and than we will see what she does

1.58 60ft 7.36@92 and it is only an eigth mile track so no 1/4 mile and that was with it banging the limiter and the tires rubbing on the fender, where still trying to figure out the tranny and where gonna roll the fenders tomorrow which that is killing the mph

Well ya know, nobody really has seen what these heads will do yet so I felt a little nervous. I heard great things from TEA about the Trick Flow's so I skipped the AFR's for my money. As soon as I saw some good numbers and ET's I can't remember the specs because I have been reading so much on cams and thinking about combos. If memory serves 224/228 114 LSA. or it was 232/236. I don't know. It was mid size. He told me to go small because I had the stock rear, but I said go bigger because if it chugs under 2500 or I blew it up it would get the 12 bolt immediately. I need to ask them the specs again. I remember saying to myself I could go way bigger on the cam if I wanted.

David – 7.36 is a great ET. I am sure that will improve with your problems corrected.

Blue Meanie - Cam selection is very important, choose wisely

Purdueranger - I have a few suspension mods. See list below which is in order of what made the biggest improvement.

Hal R front shocks and springs, Hal F rear shocks and stock springs
Spohn 1” rear sway bar
Spohn adjustable torque arm with built in driveshaft loop
Airbag in the right rear spring
BMR sub frame connectors, k-member, LCA, and LCA relocation brackets

Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Of course, I'll do my best but its my daily driver, so "caution" is the word of the day for now when it comes to the cam. "HUGE" will probably be the word in a month or two!

Great numbers.

Bill
We have them in stock ready to ship, they have the .650" lift gold dual springs and Ferrea valves, the components are all top notch. We recently had a flow improvement since John Norris got his.

In similar weather conditions and race weight I would run 11.35-11.40 before the new heads and intake.

slmdLS1 is correct my previous heads were TEA stage 1.5 heads. I changed the heads first and then a few weeks later I changed the LS6 intake for the FAST90 intake.
