new lifters with head swap??

new lifters with head swap?? i read a similar post today suggesting changing lifters if doing a head swap. i already have a tr230 cam in, and i have a set of heads on the way. i got the lifters out now while i clean up the block. my car has 40k miles on it. why is it suggested to change lifters? and if so, to what?

Peace of mind knowing you have brand new ones in there.
Also as Cstraub has pointed out many times before, a new cam will wear well on new lifters vs. a new cam wearing on old lifters. Kind of like new pads, new rotors? Make sense?
If you can afford it, get the Morels, top notch but hard to find.
