Default Are 317 castings LS6 heads???

I have a set of heads in question that are 317 castings and say LQ9 in marker on the back of them. Are there LS6 or LS1 heads? Thanks

I agree 210cc/70cc 72cc Combustion chamber I believe. Same ports as the LS6, larger combustion chamber. A desired head for a blown application.

I agree, great for a blown application. Some venders weld the chambers smaller and sell them as ls6 style heads since the ports are identical.

In the stock head flow chart the 317 heads did not flow quite as well as the 243 heads.
