Default Cam and MPG???

What kind of cam do you have and what gas milage do you get? I'm looking to find a more powerful cam and keep the gas milage I am getting with the stocker...is this possible???

Slightly....you are gonna have to search, but no one puts a cam in and expects good gas mileage.

I was getting 25-26 highway, 16-17 city back in the winter time w/ my TR230. On a half city/highway tank I'd get about 22MPG

Now, with the heat and humidity down here in the summer, i'm getting about 19.4-19.6 MPG half city/highway

Jason99t/a was recently telling me that his red car when it was at 470rwhp would get an amazing 29mpg on the highway. He's also an employee of a shop who has full access to the latest tuning technology. Will every heads/cam package get that kind of efficiency? No, but with enough effort ($) you can get good milage out of a well-matched combination.

Highway, yes you can increase over stock; but in the city, forget it.

DFW gas now has that ethonal now, basically what the ethonal dose is "water" your gas down alil, so you'll see slit decrease in gas milage

I'm down in CS right now ... I have yet to get a chance to test out what my mileage is like up in DFdub.

I don't think the College station gas has ethonal in it yet. Or atleast I haven't seen anything saying that it does. I don't pay much attention when I'm fillin up tho besides making sure I push 93
