We offer 035 castings which are basically the same. For non ported 035 heads with stock valves, the cost would be $400 plus shipping.

I dont know much about heads right now but maybe you can clear some things up for me (a little anyway)...
whats the difference between these heads and a "good expensive" set of 1500-2000$ heads offered by other companies
do these have smaller intake and exhaust ports? whats the 243 refer to
thanks... sorry for my ignorance

Valve comparison – non-sodium filled oem (2.00/1.55) vs. Ferrea (2.02/1.57):
Ferrea are stronger, and will flow 1-4cfm more. These are better for max effort setups: SC, TC, or NOS.
Oem are lighter and cheaper; fine for a more mild, normally aspirated setup. These also provide more PTV clearance.

When it comes to a ported oem casting, our heads are among the best out there. They are assembled with the highest quality parts, brand new castings, and each head is custom prepared to your specs.
243 is simply the GM part number for heads that were used on the LS6 and LS2 motors. They are superior to the LS1 heads in terms of flow even in stock form.
As far as flow, our heads flow very well and for the money, can not be beat. Our runner size is 227 +/-. This is among the smallest CNC ported 243 runners available.
If you have any questions, feel free to call us.

They would be $835 plus the cost of the 918 springs. This would be for both the 243 and 035 castings.

An assembled pair weighs approx. 60 lbs. Our current lead time on ported heads will be 2-3 weeks.

Would you step up the valves?

You would probably be better off going with a set of our LS6 style 59cc heads. These will get the compression up there, but remain at deck height. You will still need to check your PTV clearance, but the 2cc reliefs will help alot.
