check for vacume leaks
check the water temp guage it will do what your describing
check the maf and make sure its clean
Scan it and see if you have an ses code
plus I think you have a 408? My 422 gave me a code about the crank position sensor and the rpms would go erattick and bog and shut off.
Man I bet is somthing simple some times it right in front of your face

But it could be:
Faulty spark plugs or wires
Faulty coil (pack)
Faulty oxygen sensor(s)
Faulty fuel injector(s)
Burned exhaust valve
Faulty catalytic converter(s) (if you still have any, I don't recall)
Faulty camshaft position sensor (as others have mentioned)
The misfire code wasn't thrown on the dyno? Perhaps whatever is causing that is also causing the KR. Check the plugs/wires and the fuel injectors (especially if the Walbro took a **** on you, no telling what happened to the injectors).
