Anyone Use This Comp Cams Adj. Timing Set?
So anyone use this?

From here?

The timing gear is rubbing against the 4 camshaft retainer bolts. I don't know what the problem is. The bolts are torqued down to specs (18 lb ft.) No, I don't have it on backwards or anything idiotic like that. I guess I will call both Thunder Racing and Comp Cams Monday. Hope I don't have get a slimmer retainer plate. Anyone have a clue what's wrong?

well i've searched and searched all night every possible site i could find and found really nothing for addressing the problem, just found posts where they fucked up their motor due to the gear hitting the bolts... this is insanely irratable. only thing i can think of is that either the cam is spaced back to far or that it's some how short in length.
can't believe no one has ever had this problem (especially with an overplayed timing set) with a way to fix it.

Why don't you call Comp's Customer Service. I have their adjustable timing set on my engine and I've used it on two cams with no problems.
