The m6 cam (streetstyle)
Edit- The idle will have a nice lope to it but nothing crazy, and as far as cruising in 6th gear @ 50mph, thats a bad idea to be doing even with the stock cam because you're chugging the motor at such a low rpm. 6th gear is for 60mph and over.
dont we all say that? anywhooo...
i have LTs an 80 mmbbk TB and a LS1 intake w/ this lunati cam 234/236 .050 .544/.545 @110 LSA and got 385/395 hp/tq

Is this a joke as well?!
Your original post said you wanted something that would have stock style street manners, and not force you to change springs all the time. that is what the MS4 is!
The MS4 is a kick-*** cam, but not something i would call "stock street syle manners"
I'm sure with a good tuner, you could get alot of driveability out of the cam, but this might be overkill for what you are looking for...
I dont have scanner but I have the graph in front of me comparing the two.
Thunder Racing has their own lobes and their cams kick ***. My li'l ol 224 is outpulling a 230/232 and drives better. Its all in the tune.

hmm... can any one confirm this.......seems strange. How come most want bigger cams if the 224 is the same?

As far as race results my car is having issues right now and I'm waitin for time to get it in the shop to find out whats wrong with it.
Bottom line is the fact that most people on here think bigger is better and you need a big cam to produce power. In an ls1 it just isnt true. The fm13 has longer duration and more lift but is in no way is a more powerful producing cam. Lobe design plays an important factor as well.
Comments from the tuner " I was suprised, the 224 beat up on the fm13 all the way. The fm13 peak at the same hp but gave up torque and hp to the 224 until peak. It never had as much torque and it also didnt seem to drive as nice. It had a noticeable surge where the 224 didnt."
Personally I dont care what a person runs for a cam. This guys wants the best street cam. The only other choice I would look at would be the afr 224/228 cam and I would only look at that if I was going to run afr heads. I've seen a graph with as good if not better torque band and more hp than I have. I was impressed with it.
Thunder Racing told me with their P+P'ed heads 440-450 hp should be the result with the tr224.
