Thats a pretty broad statement with no information to back it up.
This guy needs good info. Selecting a cam who's power band doesnt hit until mid to upper rpms might not be what he wants. Is he gonna turn his engine to 6800 rpms ? If your gonna say get at least a 230 duration you need to explain why in a street car why anyone would want an unuasable powerband and less torque.

example here: fm13 230/232 minimum torque was 312 ft lb, tr224/224 min torque was 321 ft lbs. Again these are mustang dyno numbers. Add 10 percent or so to get dynojet numbers.

Well he said he wants a cam that makes 400 rwhp. I've seen a few guys make those #'s with one but not the norm.

I would vote TR228 on X-ER lobes (or XFI?) on a 110+0, maybe a +1.

Most with a 224 want to go bigger, this is bigger. X-ER lobes aren't quite the ROUGHEST you can put your springs on, XFI are supposed to be better for spring life. This is also very streetable.
