Back in the old drag racing days RHS were one the trickest heads for drag cars.
They slowly dropped out of sight and were recently brought back in association with CompCams. I spoke with their reps at the PRI show in Orlando and I think that will be back in the extreme racing business shortly. They apparently bought the molds and inventory of Pro Action out of Australia after they had financial problems.
Tennessee must be the place as Joe Mondolo recently moved his operation there and appears to be getting back into the high performance head business on a larger scale.

I have been doing searches out there for these RHS Heads, but havent really heard of anyone using them, especially for Forced Induction. Is there a reason besides them being expensive? Does anyone think they are worth it? I know they are re-branded ETP Heads owned by CompCams but are they better than Standard ETP's? Is there any high horsepower LSX's running these? Im curious for some numbers of these heads. By the way sorry to bring this post back.

I have a set of them. They are the same as an ET head. They're a 225 Intake port. I flowed these heads on a SF6000 flow bench.

I have always heard that they were the same as the ET head also just finished by RHS. I believe RHS used to be Pro Topline heads and make some nice heads for sbc and bbc's.

There's an article about them in High Performance Chevy this month. They are 11 degree heads that you can bolt up to an LSx block and use any LS6/Fast intake with. They have provisions for running almost any rocker assembly under a stock valve cover and a few other nice little tricks. Very nice, very expensive.

I was reading the specs on the RHS website, and it looks like other than using Comp intake and exhaust valves and a comp spring kit the heads are exactly the same as from ETP.

The flow numbers that RHS has posted on there website are the exact same flow numbers on ETP's site, so looks like the heads are NOT touched/ported at all by RHS.
I would just buy the heads from ETP and save $1500 for the exact same head.
It sucks for the people who don't know the RHS heads are actually ETP heads.

I bought a turn key 355 from RHS in 1994. I was surprised when I heard they shutdown there operation.
When I heard that COMP was bringing RHS back to life and offering heads for the LS family I though I would review them and possibly buy a set. After seeing the price I am confused at to what "niche" withen the LSx family they are trying to cater to. That price just does not seem reasonable given the other choices out there.
I wish them well, though. For all of us running a COMP grind we have RHS to thank for it.

I just put a set of the 225cc heads on a 408 I just finished. I also bought the heads bare, but I believe I only paid 955.00 each, plus valves, and rocker stands. I glad to hear they flow as advertised, because when I bought these like 6 months ago, I really went out on a limb.
