I ran 10w40 dino oil for break in and the first two changes. Just switched to 20w50. Oil pressure is up a little at idle @42 psi. Hopefully consumption will go down some. I'll stay with that.

10x40 dino oil for break in and first two changes. Just put in Penzoil 20w50. Oil pressure is up some, @ 42 at idle. May go with synthetic 20w50 next.

When you put thicker oil in a motor you will see more pressure, but at the same time your reducing flow.

FWIW I used to run the M1 15w-50 but theyve since discontinued it and im back on 10w-30. I dont have a forged motor, but I would run the same thing regaurdless.
