Only the stage 2 + 3 patriot heads start life as LQ9 heads, IIRC. They have the same ports as the LS6 heads, but a larger combustion chamber which patriot welds in and then machines back out to the requested volume. But the stage 1 243 heads are true LS6 heads. Infact I believe you can order any patriot stage using true LS6 heads at this point, if you so desire.

I am sure the TSP heads are priced for per pair.

I would recommend the TSP PRC LS6 heads. They are great heads for under a thousand dollars that flow incredibly well for having stock valves and TSP has great customer service. I have called and talked to Brian probably fifty times in the past two weeks. I never had to wait on hold for more than two minutes. They are a top notch company.

to get the TSP heads with the valve job and dual springs, it's 1249.99, to get the PP heads with the valve job and dual springs, it's 995.00. roughly 250$ difference. If you go 300 over the TSP, you can get an aftermarket casting, 400 over that, you can get a top name brand aftermarket casting. It's all about where you draw the line, and what you are willing to live with.

That is the link that Patriot sent me when I requested additional information, thus I simply posted it.

The TSP are priced per pair and I was quoted just over 1K for them shipped to my door. The heads seem to flow just as well as most other aftermarket castings.

TSP claims at least a 40 RWHP difference on my setup with the heads. Judging from past posts I hope to see this as a reality.
