Difference between Patriot and TSP
Difference between Patriot and TSP Patriot and TSP both offer some killer deals on a set of ported LS6 heads.
Question is: Is there any major difference between the two?
Question is regarding the porting CNC methods and the hand polishing at the end. Just wanted to know if there was any major pros one CNC job has over the other.

Would you guys recommend Patriot from a customer service standpoint and/or performance standpoint?
I honestly didn't think there was much of a difference between the two heads, I just want to make sure that I am going to recieve a quality product from either vendor.

Patriot for a customer service standpoint. From a performance standpoint, if they both flow comparibly, the one withteh smaller volume runner should produce slightly more low end torque with a similar top end.

Verdad Gallardo Thanks for the info. That is a good point. I am really considering taking Patriot up on this deal today. I can get the pair CNC'd with new valves for around $900 shipped. I can't find a better deal...

Both are good set ups, I say get the one that you can get the better deal on. patriot is running a killer deal right now so I would say go with them. TSP seems to be making more power but you have to ask your self is it worth it to you for the extra money.
Any idea how much more power they are making? I couldn't see any comparision writeups on the subject.

Do a search in the dyno section.Based on the quality of work,I would go with the TSP head.The competition valve job performed on the newen machine,can't be matched from Patriot.The heads from TSP will make flow better and make more power.The only thing Patriot has to offer is a better price.Price isn't the only factor you need to look at when purchasing a pair of heads.
To be honest I ownd Afrs, and patriot and must say patriot hands down. My reason is I paid 2600 for some AFRs and the valve seats fell out and valve kiss a piston. I did not assembly the heads they where assembled. Also the bolt holes for the rockers had no thread in them none!!! I did not notice untill I put them on the block. In short my money was refunded with hell in high water. I even told them just send me a new set i will pay shipping, After they told me they would repair the ones I ship back. NO I paid for brand new heads not repaired ones. In short it was resolved real quick and friendly
BUt my patriots sit atop my 422 now and for the little time I drove the car I love them went right on no hiccups or nothing. All though I did not get a T shirt LOL!!

Well I did some reading and most indicate that the TSP heads are making more power. I compared the flow dynamics from both companies:
