Default Help! Eagle ? Mahle?

Ok So Im Having My 408 Built. Callies Magnum Crank. Mahle Rods An Pistons. Mahle Sent The Wrong Rods To The Shop Thats Building My Motor. He Wants To Take Out My Callies Crank And Mahle Parts An Trade Them For Eagle Rotating Assembly? Because He Aleady Has A Eagle Rotating Assemble Already Balanced. Hes Trying To Save A Couple Days On The Build. I Payed 7000 For This Motor To Be Built. What Should I Do!? Its A Turbo Motor. Gonna Be Looking At 800-1000rwhp!

Callies and mahle components are top notch stuff, much more so than eagle which is good stuff in own right. Is he taking anything off of the bill or jus calling it even due to the addition of the rods? Id almost say keep the RA you had and bight the bullet on the delay.

hey its shorty, whats going on man how have you been? you still have your AOL account?

If you get back 1500 bucks, then fine.

Eagle stuff's okay IMO, but its not in the same league as the original parts you spec'd out. For an engine nearing 1K HP, I wouldnt skimp anywhere.

Callies Magnum cranks are without a doubt nicer than the Eagle components.

People hate to hear it but... sit tight for a couple extra days and get the correct components. Wrong parts are, unfortunately, a real part of this business.
