Putting LS6 cam in my LS1...
what would the typical power be on 99 ls1?
with LS6 cam, and LS6 intake, and stock 99 heads? (and bolt ons)
keep in mind, this car with lid/ORY/bullet as the ONLY mods, made 330/340rwhp!
I knoooow some of you are going to say "its not worth it to go to that cam" but the cam, springs and intake are free, so i dont want to hear it.
oh, and labor is free for install.

My car is the one DoesSpeedTurnUon is talking about. Like he said i am getting the Cam and springs free out of a 04 ZO6 I have a set of Mac-Mids and getting true duals with them, also have LS6 Maf. I plan on getting a LS6 Intake plus a tune.

yep, just depends on the tune. I could have seen 385, maybe even 390 if I would have ported the TB, had an underdrive pulley, cutout, and tuned it more than once. Without all that, I put down 370/370 through 4.11's. I think 385 or more would be extremely good, better than a lot of bigger cams out there. Good luck!

I don't have any good dyno numbers, but mine ran 113.4 @ over 3500 FT DA, thats 118+ at sea level, in a full weight car..
Make sure to run a 4.10 if its in an M6, it makes the car stay right in the powerband so much better.

Do it. A local guy went 11.8s @ 116 with your exact setup. He is an M6 car launching on 28" slicks with 4.10 gears. He's running a 12-bolt.
The LS6 cam is a proven peak rwhp gainer! Just ask the Z06 Corvette.

Exactly... the reason i may NOT put a cam in my z06 and the reason putting a cam in it... only gets small gains but a badass idle.
