how high to spin???

Default how high to spin???

mods are ms4, prc dual's, hardend pushrods, longtubes, ect... ls1 intake... cai... m6

how high should i spin the motor (Set rev-limiter)???

According to TSP's website that cam peaks at 6400 rpm. Add another 400 rpm carry on before your shift point and then set the rev limiter 200 rpm above the shift point. So 7000 rpm.

At least that's how I always I figure it.

LS1 intake?!?

That's going to kill your power up top anyways. If you had a 90/90, then go ahead and spin it to 7000 while gaining 40 hp.

when i put my heads on a year or so ago, and had my car tuned at W2W, they spun it to 6,850.

Take into account that i also have a '98 and they have the shitty rod bolts....

i spoke with my tuner and he ok'd 7k..

my car is being tuned today maybe as i type... should have my car back around 5pm... with a dyno sheet.... will post it if i have time today

and yes i know im not going to make the best power cause i still have a ls1 intake... but intake/injectors/fuelpump are next on my mod list...

good lord. i hate spinning an LS1 up to 7k. that seems crazy. i set my shift like at 6200.
My limiter is at 6500. that might not be the right way to do it, but i value my bearings...

lol but my cam makes power too 6600rpm... motors can be rebuilt...
