Default Base Cirlce

I'm trying to find the base circle of an LS6 cam. I know the LS6 is smaller than the LS1 but I just can't seem to find the exact number. And for that matter, the LS1 either.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It may be listed in the Cam guide. Search would probably yeild the answer if it wasnt jacked up.

From Thunder Racing's website :

LS6 Camshaft - 204/218 .551/.541 117.5 LSA Please note that this cam has approximately a 0.050" smaller base circle than a stock LS1 camshaft. This smaller base circle will require longer pushrods for applications with stock length valves and no milling for the head surface.

That's all I've been able to find. Now what's the exact measurement? If I knew the LS1, then I'd know the LS6 by subtracting

Default base circle

I remember doing a search on the internet for ASA cam and I ran into an interview with some GM engineers who discussed the base circle of the LS6 versus the LS1 cams. I believe they referred to specific dimensions. Maybe this might help.

Why do you want to know, for p-rods?
Use 7.450 with stock LS1 valves
and 7.425 with aftermarket valves
