They were somewhat maligned here because there were issues with some aftermarket porting and oil usage. If you look at the last page of that thread, it is starting to appear that the answer may be finally revealed. They are good head for the money in my opinion. They don't flow the best and they are not CNC ported, but if you check on the process for CNC porting of the other heads there is a lot of weld filling and weld repair involved. I didn't want heads that had weld fill. Also, a few guys had the 243's crack under the rockers because after porting they are thin. I am not badmouthing the head shops, but I wanted something with a little more meat under the valve train. They also don't require any milling to come up with a decent CR, since the chambers are small.
There has to be a lot of them out there, J&J speed, JEGS and Summit can't keep them in stock so someone is running them. I wouldnt' worry too much about what others recommend, check into them and if you think they meet your requirements do it.

I am running the Dart 205s with an F14 cam and put down 452rwhp and 423 rwtq. I am waiting to see what track times I can get when the cool weather comes. I am expecting at least 11.5s.

All flow work was performed on a 4 inch bore with radiused inlets and no exhaust port adapter. I don't have flow numbers on what the box stock Darts flow, but I am sure someone on here has flowed a set. If not, call John over at Dart and I am sure he can get you some hard data.
Hope this helps a little!

I like mine... I put down 421 with 4.5* of knock (fixed now) and a slipping tranny (fixed now). The tranny let go on the 2nd WOT.. I do have a better tune now, with an addition of 150 shot of spray on my demand.. I will be getting it dynoed here in a few weeks on and off the spray..
