Is This Safe?
I was wondering if its safe to rev and shift at 6500-6800rpm's?
I was told that the stock lifters max out at 6200?
here my post in the racing forum, not the greatest results

EDIT -- This is all under the assumption that you are not running the stock springs. The stock springs are definitely not good above 6200-6300 RPMs. You'll get valve float beyond that with stock springs.
Also, your sig doesn't say you have a cam, so why would you want to rev any higher? The stock cam will stop making power way before 6800 RPMs. Of course, your sig also says that you have done internals, so you probably don't have to worry about the rod bolts.
