When to change lifters?
80k miles on the clock
changing heads and cam again soon
original stock cam in for 78k miles
224/.581 in for 2k miles
no symptoms of problems
Should I change lifters when I change heads? I mean, is there actually a risk of a problem with say, a G5X3 or similar cam?
rollers are made to be reused, as long as theyre not damaged they should be just fine unless youre running large lift or high rpm (6500+) new cam or not

sadly the LSx design requires heads to be removed and that is the biggest contributor to most cam only swaps not wanting to change.
