Default AFR 205's With T2 cam???

will this be a good setup? It will work right? A friends has a T2 cam and is looking at AFR 205's. He found a good deal on them . He just wants some good info thanx

Ideally, he should have the AFRs milled (if they aren't already) to help the dcr with that cam.
IMHO, if I saw a "good deal" on a set of AFR 205s I would buy them regardless of what cam I already had. He could always sell the cam and get a different one if needed...

Don't mill the heads too much or you may have some PTV issues. I agree with BSHELL, if you find a good deal on AFR's get'em. That combo should make some pretty good power. I am running a smaller cam (228/232 588/592) making 440/420 to the wheels in my Z06.

Definitly mill the heads, you can knock them down .020" safely with the torquer 2...that will give you a nice bump in compression. I have a set of AFR 205's with upgraded 2.04" intake valves for $2000 plus shipping, I can also deck them for 50 dollars down to a 64cc chamber which would give you about 10.6:1

OK he has a thinner head gasket so he said he will not do .020 that we will do them .010 just to be safe sound good?
