Default What valves?

Ok, so I bought some LS6/LS2 heads, and failed to ask what valves were in them. I should've known for the price that they're the solid valves. What's a good lightweight valve to buy and stick in these? Preferably more reasonably priced than not.

PRC dual springs. G5X3. Wanting to rev to around 7000 (7200 if it'll hold with good rod bolts).

I'm thinking Manley Race Master valves. Since the heads are brand new, can I just stick these valves in the place of the old ones and be good to go? Should I get seals too just to be sure?

You need to get a valve job for the new valves.
But since you're unning such heavy duals, I wouldn't bother. Just stick with the valves you have.
On a G5X3 there is absolutely no benefit in going that high in rpm, unless you just like to hear the motor scream

6800 is plenty with the G5X3.

Ya think? I ask because my little 224 was just peaking at 6600. So I figured a bigger cam like a G5X3 would move way up.

So what's the deal? They have to make the head where the valve sits the same shape as the new valve? And a 2.00" Manley valve won't fit where a 2.00" GM valve was? I appreciate the education, guys. I know nothing about this, obviously.

Is there a beehive spring that would handle a G5X3, so that I could use lighter valves too? I hear a light valvetrain is great for power and revs.
